Sunday evening, Bravo shed light on the beloved Manzo family like viewers have never seen them before and the matriarch herself Caroline Manzo is back with an all new show “Manzod With Children.”

Unlike on The Real Housewives of New Jersey the Manzo house is now full to the brim and the family is back together. Though kids are grown, much of the entertainment comes from the Manzo’s interacting together on a new level. Albie and Chris are up to their usual antics and this time involve little sister Lauren’s wedding. The show also features RHONJ character Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo’s sister in law.

The first episode follows Lauren as she tries on wedding gowns for a Glamour photo shoot and the brothers trying to convince their best friend Greg to come home from San Francisco. For the first episode, it was exciting to see the Manzo family back in action, but there was not any real story line, which was refreshing. The show was actually just following them around. One thing that was interesting was how the show portrayed Lauren’s weight loss. A year ago she had gastric bypass surgery and it felt like her trying on the wedding dresses was a sort of coming out of sorts showcasing how beautiful she looked and felt.

Overall, each episode has its own plot. The thirty minute show has a different theme, climax and resolution, though it is possible that viewers do not care what is going on in the show, just that their beloved Manzo family is back on television where they belong.
