College looks good on you

Describe yourself in three words:

“compassionate, outgoing, creative”

It’s okay not to be okay sometimes because you are aware and acknowledge the potential lacking.

You have goals and you make things happen even though this is not your passion, we all do things we don’t want to do.

“Be here now”

You can’t control anything or anyone. Dwelling on past experiences limits your ability to progress. If you worry about it now, you’ll be worrying for it twice.

You have expectations for yourself because you expect greatness and will not settle for being subtle. I respect that.

Maybe you’re used to being used. You fall for that smile, cheek to cheek, laughing but here’s the punch line:

He doesn’t have to touch you to break you.

I want you to listen because this is not a love song:

When push comes you shove her

Aside Across

Underneath

Euphoria f a d e s

Casual casualty

lucid becomes mundane.

Slowly deteriorate.

She didn’t have to care.

Your lows left her lonely

Yet, she carried your pain- in- ful.

unwashed brushes,

impure intentions.

No longer a- muse - d

you only see black and white in visible light those are not colors.

Little Miss taking every little

Miss understanding he won’t be sorry for.

Wet paint- too beautiful not to touch

Streaks stain

a bright shade of resentment down her cheeks.

You drifted.

Outside the lines.

Drawing permanent conclusions from blurry decisions.

And so we wonder

How someone so bright

could be so dim.
