“I would say no one has higher expectations for the program then I do. I expect us to be competing for a Missouri Valley Championship year in and year out, for us to be graduating players and bringing in guys who represent the program the right way. We want to win, what's winning that’s competing for a championship in conference.

"We do play a tough schedule year in and year out, and I think the quality opponent gets us ready for the conference. I expect us to protect our home court, I expect our players to get better, I expect our guys to graduate, and have a chance to play professionally if they want. I think Illinois State basketball can and should be one of the better mid-major programs in the area and in the country.”
