The City of Bloomington announced multiple events in the coming weeks will be canceled in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The City of Bloomington announced multiple events in the coming weeks will be canceled in response to the coronavirus pandemic. 

The city hopes to reschedule any of the following events if possible. For now, the events below have been canceled:

Guns & Hoses hockey game at Grossinger Motors Arena, scheduled for March 13.

The Lauren Daigle show at Grossinger Motors Arena, scheduled for March 14.

The Indoor Farmers Market at Grossinger Motors Arena scheduled for March 21.

The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts will be closed until April 12.

The city's Senior and S.O.A.R. programs administered through the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts department will be closed through April 12. This includes the Senior Center in Miller Park.

Business travel by city employees is not permitted through April 12. 

Select Boards and Commissions meetings may be canceled between now and April 12. Those wanting more information can check the city's website calendar for cancellations when/if they become available.

People registered for Senior and S.O.A.R. programs through the Parks department will receive credit on their accounts for canceled programs. People who have tickets to canceled events at the Arena and/or BCPA will be contacted with more information.
