A new art exhibition, titled "Unsteady Hands," is being held starting on Friday. The featured artist is David Dow, who, along with being an artist, is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and advocate.
The exhibit will run from Jan. 15 to Feb. 19 at the McLean County Arts Center. The exhibit is free to the public and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to their website, the Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau describes the exhibition as an “exploration of masks,” stating that the work takes inspiration from memories of his childhood that were brought back by 2020’s intensity. Much of the art utilizes glass beads and wax, which is different from Dow’s usual medium of choice, ceramics.
