This year has brought a new design to the maze along with two phases to explore, all thanks to the GPS technology used for precision planting.
The two levels that visitors can tackle at Rader Family Farms vary based on how long it takes to complete them. Those who are intimidated by the sheer size of the maze can take on Phase 1. Taking about 20 minutes to complete, Phase 1 can be called the little brother of the two mazes.
The big brother can typically be completed within 40 minutes. There are multiple checkpoints throughout, so people who dare to take the challenge will know how much progress has been made.
On Oct. 19 there will be a Chick-fil-A Night Maze event from 6-9 p.m.
During this event, visitors will have a chance to explore the maze at night with the use of personal flashlights.
Attendees will also receive one complementary chicken sandwich card for attending the event. Lastly, there will be a chance to take a photo with the official Chick-fil-A Mr. Cow throughout the night.
In addition to the Chick-fil-A event, there will also be a Lazy Daze Night Maze from 6-10 p.m. Oct. 27. The food trucks PICO de GALLO and Curbside Grillin' will be parked at the farm providing food for purchase.
Grab dinner and explore the corn maze at night. People are required to provide their own flashlights, or they can purchase glow sticks at the event.
While mazes are a huge attraction for plenty of visitors, there are also lots of other activities and events going on around the farm.
Some of the other attractions are the Harvest Brew Coffee Shop, a combine slide, apple blasters, weekend tram rides, Sidekick Grill and a campfire if weather permits.
