The Evergreen Cemetery Walk will be celebrating their 25-year anniversary.

The Evergreen Memorial Cemetery began its annual walk to help prevent cemetery vandalism and to educate community members on the importance of cemeteries. Evergreen Memorial Cemetery is also the oldest cemetery in Bloomington.

This year, the walks will be held at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 5-6 and Oct. 12-13. There will be performances and tours during these times. Tickets are $17, but the price for members of the McLean County Museum of History are $15. Tickets are $5 for children and students with an ID.

If you purchase a general public ticket or a member ticket 24 hours or more before the event, you will receive a $2 discount on the ticket price.

Tickets are available for purchase on the museum’s website or in person at both the McLean County Museum of History and Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
