There will be a Lollapalooza of sorts after all, a virtual event on YouTube, with old and new content, even a social justice bent.
The festival on YouTube kicks off at 5 p.m. July 30.
No flower crowns, no underbutt, no stepping on smushed piles of uncertain provenance as you rush to a stage. Is it really Lollapalooza without sunburn, sore feet, the incessant thump of Perry’s stage and a weekend of human pinball are questions you will have to answer for yourself, but virtual Lolla is happening.
