There are few who follow music that aren’t aware of Steve Aoki’s powerful presence in the world of electronic dance music.
Actually, even if you’re not familiar with the scene, the Aoki name probably rings a bell.
In his most recent tour, the grammy-nominated DJ is traveling the country during his “Aokify America Tour,” accompanied by Borgore, famous for his single “Decisions” featuring Miley Cyrus.
The tour also features hip-hop artist Waka Flocka Flame, the huge rap name behind hit singles like “Hard in da Paint” and “No Hands,” whose intense voice, beats and lyrics always manage to excite the crowd at a show or just listeners on Youtube.
The Chicago performance will include special guest Pharrell Williams, whose name as a producer is behind some of the biggest hip-hop CDs of the past decade, including “Nellyville,” “Justified” and The Neptunes. Along with past success, he has also been behind some of the biggest party tracks of this summer, including Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and of course Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.”
All in the all, the unique line-up that mixes a plethora of musical genres is guaranteed to create a fun night full of bumping music and tons of dancing for those in attendance.
