The REO Speedwagon Rock to the Rescue concert has been rescheduled. The concert will no longer be held on Feb. 6. The show has been rescheduled for Friday, June 27 at Braden Auditorium.
Tickets for the original show on Feb. 6 will still be honored on the Friday, June 27 show, and tickets are now on sale for the June show.
The ticket proceeds for the June show will still be raising money for the Central Illinois communities that were impacted by the tornadoes which hit in December.
The concert is a repeat performance of a show that raised over $400,000 for victims of the tornadoes that hit Washington, Ill.
The band Chicago, who toured with REO Speedwagon this past summer, decided to include a performance to help tornado victims on Jan. 29.
Due to Chicago’s announcement, REO Speedwagon decided to move their concert to June.
The June show will include special guests The Easthills and another band which is TBD.
Tickets are on sale at the Braden Auditorium box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, at Tickemaster.com or can be purchased by phone at 800-745-3000.
