We have heard about people breaking records, but Carmelo Anthony sticks out recently for his astonishing 62 point career high on Friday against the Bobcats. Melo broke both the arena and franchise records for the Knicks.
“When I made the shot at the half, I told myself the zone was there,” Anthony told ESPN.
What is also impressive is the fact that he scored the 62 points before leaving the court with seven minutes remaining in the game. By pouring out those baskets, Melo knocked down Kevin Durant, Bernard King and Kobe Bryant’s records.
