Up for Best Picture, “Her” is a unique love story that’s worth your time. Its bittersweet storyline and interesting way of delineating the future is what makes it Oscar-worthy.

Taking on the role of a Manhattan socialite who loses everything she once had, Cate Blanchett’s performance in “Blue Jasmine” will more than likely win her an Oscar this weekend. Nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role, Blanchett was already awarded a Golden Globe for her work in the movie, making her an obvious frontrunner.
