The Association of Residence Halls (ARH) will be hosting a ping-pong tournament from 2 to 6 p.m. this Saturday at the Vrooman Center on East Campus.
Ping-Pong for charity will require a $3 fee from each person who wants to participate. The tournament will be conducted in a double-elimination fashion in the Escalante Room in the Vrooman Center.
Those who participate will get free Redbird ping-pong balls. This event is open to anyone who wants to play and is played in singles.
The winner will split the winnings with the local charity Easter Seals. Easter Seals aims to give outreach and services to people living with autism and other disabilities.
ARH hosts several different yearly programs. Participating and getting involved in the association’s activities helps students to meet new people and to gain leadership skills.
