ISU community classes at Alumni Center

ISU’s Academy of Seniors and Mornings with the Professors programs has scheduled several classes at the Alumni Center, continuing through June.

The Senior Professionals organization is sponsoring all the different classes offered at the Alumni Center at 1001 N. Main St.

Classes offered this semester include academy and mornings, as well as Classroom Journey.

Academy classes include Our World of Local Art, Globalization and the New World Economy, Communicating in a Diverse World and much more. Academy classes for members are $35 and $45 for nonmembers. The classes will be starting on March 25.

Mornings classes include but are not limited to Shakespeare the Populist, Beyond Formal Education: Where the Best Education is Found and Why Are There No Spelling Bees in Korea, which start in April. Mornings classes are also $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers. $15 walk-ins are also accepted.

A Classroom Journey will begin in May. This class will involve adventuring through McLean County on May 22. The cost is $50 for members and $60 for nonmembers.
