Stephen Curry sinks last second shot to beat Mavericks

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors drained a fade-away jumper to help beat the Mavericks in overtime, 122-120, with 0.1 seconds left.

Golden State’s Jermaine O’Neal blocked Monta Ellis’ layup attempt with only 16 seconds left when Curry got the ball back in his hands. He made the decision to wait until there was five seconds left before he did a crossover and shot the jumper.

This win puts the Warriors two games ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns with just eight games left to play.

“I had missed a couple in regulation and a couple in overtime that I felt were good, so I just knew to keep shooting it, and thankfully it went in,” Curry told NBA.com.
