Durant passes Jordan in loss to Suns

By: John Butkus

Kevin Durant has had an amazing season and just keeps getting better as the season progresses. On Sunday Durant passed Michael Jordan for the record of most consecutive games with at least 25 points with 41 games in a row. Although any record that surpasses the great Michael Jordan would be something to be excited about, Kevin Durant doesn’t look at it that way. “I don’t really care about it,” he said. “I can’t wait until it’s over.”  At this point in the season, Durant has all but locked up the MVP race and his OKC Thunder sit in first place in their division and second place behind the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference with just six games remaining.
