Northwestern University’s quarterback, Trevor Siemian believes that it was wrong for former quarterback Kain Colter and other players to seek unionization without first talking to their coach and administrators.
On Wednesday, Siemian explained to the Associated Press that he does not agree with Colter’s decision or actions. Siemian expressed that he has been “treated far better than I deserve” while studying and playing at Northwestern.
Coach Pat Fitzgerald has previously told his players that they should vote against the union. Fitzgerald recently has said that 60 of his players finished above a 3.0 GPA in the last quarter.
“Proud of the fact we’re the best academic school in the country,” Fitzgerald told CBSsports.com.
