Rio de Janeiro behind for 2016 Olympics

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Vice President John Coates has called all of Brazil’s preparations for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games, “the worst” he has ever seen and it is absolutely behind schedule.

Coates told the delegates that construction had not even began for some venues and other infrastructure was delayed. Another major concern was the poor water quality.

Coates also mentioned there are no plans for another host set in place.
