Illinois State University’s Bowling and Billiards center is offering what may be considered the cheapest date in town this fall.

On the first Sunday of each month, the center will host Sunday Funday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with $2 unlimited bowling, billiards and table tennis for ISU students with a valid university identification.

In a prepared statement, Rick Holmes, manager of the Bowling and Billiards Center, said, “We see this as a unique opportunity to offer students a fun weekend activity.”

In addition to inexpensive ten-pins, pool and pingpong, the first 25 students to take advantage of Funday will receive a free T-shirt.  The center will provide free food and have giveaways, Holmes said.

“We hope students unfamiliar with the BBC (Bowling and Billiards Center) will come check it out and enjoy some really great food and prizes. We’ll also have NFL games on our TVs and scoring monitors, so students can keep up with Sunday Football,” said Holmes.

The first Sunday Funday is scheduled for Sept. 7.
