In the past 10 games, Bracey has been the women's basketball team's ringleader, averaging a near double-double with 14.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Bracey had a rough physical game in the team's road victory over Bradley, but still managed 22 points and nine rebounds. Her consistent play continued in ISU’s 90-61 home win over Drake, when she led all scorers with 19 points. It was the team’s largest margin of victory on the season. The senior forward from Oak Park, Ill., has also earned back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference honors in the past two weeks.

“Athlete of the Week” is a new online segment of the Daily Vidette’s sports section. A new Illinois State student-athlete will be honored each week based on breakout performances in his or her respective sport.
