Sunday, August 30

An ISU employee reported criminal damage to his motor vehicle as it was parked in lot F-24 across from Atkin-Colby residence halls sometime between 3 a.m. and 1:40 p.m.

Unknown suspects broke the employee’s radio antennae off the car, which the employee noticed when trying to tune in to radio stations later that day.


A student reported her TomTom GPS stolen from her car in parking lot S-35 sometime between 8 p.m. on August 27 and 2 p.m. on August 30. No suspects have been determined.



Monday, August 31

A student reported criminal damage to the 16th floor of Hewett’s bulletin boards. According to the student, unknown suspects cut a two-inch swastika into the construction paper sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

At 8:24 p.m., police arrested a student on one count possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams after pro staff members in Watterson Towers mentioned a noxious odor from the fifth floor of Randolph House.

 

Tuesday, September 1

No injuries resulted in a battery after two high school students sucker punched an ISU student between the CVA and Centennial Buildings at 9:31 p.m. after the student asked the two high schoolers to quiet down.


No suspects have been determined in a theft that resulted in the loss of a silver MacBook Pro, a black notebook and a sociology textbook for a student after she set her backpack down in CVA 146 at 5 p.m. briefly as she went to the bathroom.



Wednesday, September 2


Police charged a 2003 alumnus with a criminal trespass warning in Milner after several female students reported being harassed by the alumnus while working in Milner around 8:12 p.m. The alumnus stated he roamed around the library in an attempt to pick up girls.
