The Black Student Union will hold their annual Quad Jam from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 on the Quad.

Students looking for more information on the BSU or those just looking to have a good time are invited to attend.
The BSU will provide food and beverages from local vendors as well as entertainment at the Quad Jam. An open mic session will be held for students to perform everything from songs to slam poetry. Fraternities and sororities perform as well, with the fraternities showing “Step” routines.
BSU President Lorryn Neely said she was going for a “new approach” towards the Quad Jam this year and hopes to incorporate “new ideas and fresh eyes.”
“We’re trying to make this even better than the last Quad Jam,” Neely said.
BSU member and junior broadcast journalism major Cherisse Wilson had many things to say about previous Quad Jams.
“The Quad Jam is a lot of fun and a way to meet new people,” Wilson said. “It’s a way to socialize and celebrate the new year.”
Students of all races are encouraged to come to the Quad Jam, which Neely says aims to “attract a broader spectrum of students.”
