Musician Justin Townes Earle has been forced to suspend his performance October 12 at Six Strings in Bloomington due to personal issues. In a statement released Wednesday Earle has decided to suspend the remaining 20 dates on his United States tour to enter a rehab facility. In the statement Earle asserted his commitment to addressing his "on-going struggle with addiction" and thanked famiy and friends for their support during this time. The statement indicated that Earle would resume the tour at a later date. This decision comes on the heels of an incident at an Indianapolis night club in which Earle was arrested and charged with misdemeanor crimes. Earlier this month Earle released his third album, "Harlem River Blues," which has since reached number 47 on the Soundscan overall Top 200.
