The touch of glitter

Ok guys, its time for a flash back. Glitter nail polish, a fifth grade girl’s staple.

Last time I remember having glitter nail polish was at my 10th birthday, and of course my younger brother got a hold of the polish and painted my friend Jared’s face. But, besides that, lets talk glitter nail polish.

Bold metallic’s and small glitter grains are ideal for this winter.

Dark shades of blue, greens and purples mixes of glitter nail polish, will add sophistication, but also give a little spice to any wardrobe. If you are someone who doesn’t paint their nails that often, I would recommend going with nude colors. Nude shades will give the feeling of class that goes with any outfit.

Currently, I am into grays and dark blues polish. I like it because it is not as drastic as black and it goes well with any ensemble because of the dark tones of the blue and gray polish.

For now, my nails are bare, but soon I hope to adorn them with beautiful colors.

What are some of your favorite polish colors and tips?

Martha- Yes, nail polish! I really like glitter nail polish, particularly gold. Currently I am wearing a grey nail polish which definitely is a good neutral and I feel like it's a fashionable and mature color too. A 16 year old isn't going to paint her nails grey, but a 20 year old can and it's freaking awesome. Okay, now I'm ranting. My new favorite nail polish is the "suede" nail polsih by O.P.I. They took colors that they already had made (like my favorite "Lincoln Park After Dark") and made them suede, so when they originally go on they look kind of sparkly, but in the blink of an eye they are suddenly dull and not shiny, but it looks great. I feel inspired to paint my nails right now just thinking about it!
