Below are my picks for the Grammy’s. Not every category is mentioned seeing as I highly doubt you care about best instrumental album. Record of the Year: F*** You, CeeLo Green - Realistically, any artist nominated for this award could win. However, CeeLo Green’s amazing ability to create a song all based on a profane word deserves some merit, and the award. Album of the Year: The Fame Monster, Lady Gaga – 2010 was the year of Lady GaGa. Her album has gone multiplatinum in 12 countries and received multiple awards for this album, so I don’t see why she wouldn’t be able to snag this one. Song of the Year: Ned You Now, Lady Antebellum. Best New Artist: Florence and The Machine. Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals: Telephone, Lady Gaga and Beyonce. Best Pop Vocal Album: The Fame Monster, Lady Gaga. Best Rock Song: Little Lion Man, Mumford and Sons. Best Rock Album: Le Noise, Neil Young. Best Alternative Music Album: Brothers, The Black Keys. Best Rap Song: Love The Way You Lie, Eminem and Rihanna. Best Rap Album: Recovery, Eminem. So, readers, what do you think of my predictions? Who do you hope to see win? |
