Here are the condensed crime reports for the week:

Saturday, September 3
An officer on bike patrol conducted a routine traffic stop at 1:46 a.m. on School Street. A student was cited for a traffic violation and arrested for possession of cannabis.

An officer was dispatched to McCormick Hall for a criminal damage report at 3:26 a.m. Reports indicate a student damaged two flower pots and a trash can lid. The case has been referred to Community Rights and Responsibilities.

Sunday, September 4
At 1:01 a.m., an officer responded to the parking lot at 642 W. Gregory St. A female student with an in-state warrant was arrested for driving under the influence and cited for other traffic violations. Cleared by adult arrest.

Monday, September 5
An officer conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Irving at 9:51 p.m. A male was cited for traffic violations, and arrested for possession of alcohol and driving under the influence of drugs.

Tuesday, September 6

At 1:27 a.m., an officer on bike patrol responded to suspicious activity on the second floor of Adams House in Watterson Towers. Three students were referred to Community Rights and Responsibilities for dropping mini footballs out their dorm window. No complaint was filed.

An officer responded to Watterson Towers at 1:30 p.m. for a criminal defacement report. Pro-staff reported graffiti on a sign in the northwest corner of Watterson Towers. Police reported no suspects.

Friday, September 9

At 2:51 a.m., a G4S officer reported the theft of the flag from the flagpole at Metcalf School. The theft occurred between 1 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. No suspects have been determined.

Saturday, September 10

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot at 209 S. Main St. at 8:34 p.m. Police cited a student for driving an uninsured vehicle on a suspended license.

Sunday, September 11
An officer responded to the men’s restroom on the second floor of Atkin Hall at 2:36 p.m. for a criminal damage and theft report. The resident assistant reported the defacement of multiple surfaces with black marker and the removal of a stall door.
