Tickets for the Carrie Underwood show at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum will go on sale Friday, November 16 at 10:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, at (800) 745-3000, Ticketmaster.com or by visiting the Coliseum box office. The concert will be on May 2, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

There are three separate ticket prices, $63.50, $53.60 and $43.50. One dollar from every ticket purchased will be donated to the American Red Cross to help provide shelter, food and emotional support to those affected by disasters.

“Tickets will sell quickly for this show so if you are wanting to purchase tickets don’t wait, purchase them right away.  Our country shows have all sold out in 30 minutes or less and we are expecting this show to do the same,” Jenna Fecht, marketing and communications manager for the Coliseum, said.

Hunter Hayes will be opening for Underwood. Hayes is the Country Music Association Awards’ winner for Best New Artist of the Year. The young, 21-year-old artist currently has one studio album released and a chart-topping single called “Wanted.”

“This is the first time both Carrie Underwood and Hunter Hayes have been to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The show will include dazzling costume changes, creative staging and amazing vocals.  Like our other country shows we have had in the past they never disappoint,” Fecht said.

The show on May 2 is part of Underwood’s Blown Away Tour, which began in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 26. The tour is scheduled to close in Dauphin,  Canada on June 30. The tour follows the release of her new album by the same title.

Underwood was the winner of season four of American Idol. She has since won several Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, American Music awards and Country Music Awards.

Underwood co-hosted the most recent CMA Awards with Brad Paisley. It was her fifth time hosting for the show. Her debut album was released in 2006, which went platinum. The same album also produced three songs that hit the top of the Billboard charts.
