Although the United States has seen numerous presidents, President Barack Obama has been very unique in the way he connects with the younger generation and the way he understands the importance of working cohesively with the government, as well as the people.

Nonetheless, with uniqueness comes adversity.

Our 44th president is allegedly the most threatened president in the history of the United States, which Nathaniel Patterson recently posted a self-
written article on www.causes.com.

The article explains that the Secret Service considers the number of threats against the president to be “overwhelming.”

It is stated that there are “more than 30 potential death threats” discovered each day encouraging the Secret Service to work more efficiently in order to protect the president.

“Since the President took office in 2008, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 percent .

“Some threats to the president have been publicized, including the well known alleged plot by white supremacists in Tennessee to rob a gun store, shoot 88 black people, decapitate another 14 and then assassinate the first black president in American history,” Patterson said.

The amount of threats targeted to the president has surely increased as more and more people have become blatantly discourteous.

Moreover, some of the threats that are being discovered have been extended to the president’s family.

The volume of threats that the Secret Service has encountered seems incomparable to past presidents.

According to the Huffington Post, Anton Caluori, 31, reportedly composed a “profanity-laced email” stating: “I will kill the president!!!!! … I want you to come and get me … you can’t afford to call my bluff.”

“According to the complaint, inside the apartment, where Caluori lives with his mother, was an arsenal, with an AK-47-style rifle in the kitchen, with eight loaded 40-round magazines nearby.

“In the bedroom, under the bed, was a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle, with a loaded 100-round drum magazine.

“There was a loaded .45-caliber pistol by the front door, and a number of marijuana plants, the complaint said,” the Huffington Post article stated.

Some Obama supporters have even gone to the degree of forming a “Join the Fight to Stop Dishonoring the President” group.

This group can be found on www.causes.com, where many interesting articles are posted discussing threats to Obama.

A recent article is entitled, “Firefighter sacked after 19 years of service for bringing toilet paper with Obama’s face on it into work.”

The disrespect of the current president is ludicrous and deserves more attention than it is getting.

Optimistically, the Secret Service will keep an eye out for any foul play and ensure that the president and his family are protected.

People may not like the policies and the ideas that the president advocates, but threatening to harm an innocent man is never justifiable.
