In high school, I hung out with a girl who had created a bucket list and consistently added to it. A few of the goals on the list were as simple as wanting to dye her hair, but most of them were probably not going to be accomplished until she was older, like wanting to travel the world.

During the famous Boston Marathon that was held on Monday, two bombs exploded three hours after the winners crossed the finish line, killing at least three people and mangling more than 130 people. The streets of Boston were in a widespread panic, reacting as if the United States was under terrorist attack. The investigation is ongoing, and not many details have surfaced about the semantics of the attack.
