			<description><![CDATA[How is it fair for scholarships to be given to someone based on sexual preference? This could easily be lied about, and McCreery himself said that sexual orientation "will have no bearing on their success or failure." Therefore, everyone should be competing for the same scholarships. Those with a LGBTQ status are not at a disadvantage by having to compete with straight people, so why are they might they be entitled to special scholarships? I understand the idea of promoting diversity, but from any scholarship application I have filled out, the judges would not have known if I was straight or not. Sexual orientation is completely irrelevant when getting a scholarship. In fact, it is not asked on applications.]]></description>
