Illinois State University hosted its summer concert on the quad series presenting Jodi Beach Trio Monday evening. Bloomington-Normal residents came out to enjoy the music and summer weather. The Beach Trio took the crowd on a a sentimental journey through music.
There are three concerts remaining in the series on the Quad. They include:
Good Morning Bedlam on July 15. The band gives a twist on what would typically be expected of folk music.
Illinois State Director of Instrumental Jazz Studies Tom Marko will lead an evening of contemporary jazz on July 22.
Singing Under the Stars on July 29 at which time which ISU faculty and guests will sing their favorite songs from operatic and Broadway stages. The performance will be the close to the free concerts on the Quad series.
