Seventeen new COVID-19 cases were announced by the McLean County Health Department Monday. The total confirmed cases for COVID-19 stands at 187.

The surge in cases continues due to an outbreak at the Bloomington Rehabilitation and Health Care center and increase of testing at the Interstate drive-thru testing site.

The Bloomington nursing home has 45 cases and three of the county’s six deaths.

Out of the 187 confirmed cases, 107 have recovered, six have died, nine are hospitalized and 65 are in home isolation.
