The sixth annual #BloNoKiteFest will be from 11 to 4 p.m. on May 19 at Illinois State University’s Hancock Stadium.

#BloNoKiteFest is free and open to the public. The event will feature kite flying, live music by local band Conversation Over, a talent show, a climbing wall, face painting and other activities.

Kites will be available for sale and all proceeds will benefit local and global nonprofits.

The event is organized by For a Better Tomorrow, a nonprofit that focuses on supporting national and international nonprofits in need.

“I love that this event brings the community together around the simple activity of flying a kite,” Co-Director of Kite Fest Steve Grady said.

Free parking will be available for Kite Fest attendees in the surrounding parking lots of Hancock Stadium.
