The Bloomington Police Department is continuing its investigation into a five-year-old homicide.

Haileigh Eichorn, 26, was last seen April 28, 2013, until her body was discovered May 7, 2013, in Stanford, Illinois.

At the time of death, authorities believed Eichorn’s body had been left for a while. No vehicle or other possessions were at the scene.

Detectives are still looking for a lead on the possible cause of Eichorn’s death, with more information on the days and hours that lead to her death.

This is not the first time detectives have searched for information. BPD made this same appeal in 2016 and 2017. Those with information are encouraged to come forward.

Information can be shared with Detective Matthew Dick, (309) 434-2475, or Detective John Heinlen, (309) 434-2672.

Anonymous requests can be submitted to Crime Stoppers of McLean County at (309) 828-1111. If any information leads to an arrest or indictment, there may be eligibility for a $1,000 reward.
