Normal Police responded to a call at approximately 10 p.m. Monday at the 400 block of W. Locust Street after a student reported that two males robbed him in his apartment while completing a transaction for a pair of shoes.

One of the suspects allegedly was armed with a handgun.

The suspects took cellphones and cash before leaving the area in an unknown direction.

The Normal Police Department is still investigating the case.
