The event will be held in Steven 401.

Being a first-generation college student comes with a lot of challenges, one being financial stress.

The new registered student organization,First Gen Redbirds,seeks to provide support for those students.

First Gen focuses on supporting these students academically, socially and financially by providing tips and referrals.

First Gen will host its first free event called Investing in Your Financial Future.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9in Stevenson Hall 401A. 

Dean of Forex of Trade Nation, Ryan B. Willis will be the keynote speaker. 

Willis will talk about the importance of generational wealth and the art of trading using a smartphone. 

Students are encouraged to network with other students about their financial well-being.
