The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 1,462 new coronavirus cases and 61 additional deaths Saturday. 

The statewide totals currently stand at 118,917 known cases and 5,330 deaths across 101 of Illinois’ 102 counties. 

The age of cases ranges from younger than 1 to older than 100 years. 

Illinois laboratories have conducted 25,343 tests over the past 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 877,105 produced tests. 

The positivity rate from May 23 to May 29 is 7%.
