The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 658 new coronavirus cases and 23 additional deaths Monday.

This brings statewide totals to 128,415 known cases and 5,924 known deaths across 101 counties.

The age of cases ranges from younger than 1 to older than 100 years.

Illinois laboratories reported 16,099 tests over the past 24 hours. This brings the statewide total to 1,058,873 tests since the beginning of the outbreak.

The seven-day statewide positivity rate from June 1 to June 7 is 5%.
