Illinois State University facilities will be closed starting June 1 until further notice.

Human Resources at Illinois State University sent an email out to faculty and staff late Monday afternoon stating due to recent events of vandalism, looting and violence throughout the Bloomington-Normal community, university facilities will remain closed until further notice.

Employees whose shifts ended and were not designated as essential personnel were urged to leave campus at 6:30 p.m. University employees will continue working from home until further notice.
