Illinois State University’s Director of Sustainability, Elizabeth Reed, is set to present the next talk for the Spring 2020 International Seminar Series “Local and Global Environments in Conversation.” 

Reed will present “There is No Away: The Continued Story of the Items We Donate, Recycle and Trash” from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center. 

The event, as well as the rest of the series, are free and open to the public every Wednesday.

A free buffet lunch is also included. This event is also a Zero Waste event.

The series provides the ISU campus and the Bloomington-Normal community a weekly opportunity to become more educated about a wide range of international topics. 

Guest speakers are known to be experts in their fields that include a span of disciplines, such as cultural, historical, political, social and scientific topics.
