Illinois State University was recently recognized for academic excellence in the U.S. News Best Online Programs rankings, published by U.S. News & World Report again.
In the U.S News 2020 listing of Best Online Bachelor’s Programs, ISU was ranked 23rd with an overall score of 86 out of 100 possible points. According to U.S News, schools are ranked based on their performance across a set of multiple accepted indicators of excellence.
ISU currently provides an online program for registered nurses to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree through Mennonite College of Nursing and an online health information management sequence through the Department of Health Sciences.
These Bachelor’s degree programs were rated on engagement, services and technologies, faculty credentials and training and expert opinion.
As for the 2020 Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs list, ISU was ranked 111th with an overall score of 64 out of 100 possible points. This is in relation to its online master’s degree in nursing systems administration that the Mennonite College of Nursing offers.
The current nursing master’s degree programs were rated in five general groups including engagement, faculty credentials and training, expert opinion, services and technologies and student excellence.
