Starting Nov. 22, Locust Street will be closed for westbound traffic through to Fell Avenue.

Locust Street will remain closed throughout the following week and will reopen Dec. 2, weather permitting. Repairs on the sewer are expected to be completed at that time. Access to surrounding buildings will be maintained.

The construction begins at Main Street, near Circle K, and will end at Fell Avenue near the Bone Student Center parking lot.

The Town of Normal suggests traveling with caution or finding an alternate route. Any questions can be directed to Project Manager Jason Comfort at (309) 433-9917.
