MCHD is reporting 133 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, Jan. 22 bringing the total of probable and confirmed cases to 13,535 cases. 

Currently, 539 are in home isolation with 22 hospitalized. Local hospitals are reporting 69% of ICU beds in use and 79% of total beds in use. McLean has had 146 COVID-related deaths. 

There are 12,653 individuals recovered. 

More than 208,000 tests has resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 6.5%. The rolling seven-day positivity rate is 5.4%. 

MCHD has begun vaccinating those in Phase 1b which includes non-health care frontline essential workers such as staff at daycares, grocery store employees, first responders, USPS workers, public transit workers, and residents age 65 and over. 

Those who qualify for the vaccine in Phase 1b must make an appointment.
