The National Weather Service in Lincoln is forecasting a slight chance of severe weather in the Bloomington-Normal area Wednesday night.

There is a chance for some showers before 10 p.m. Wednesday, and then a greater chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. Thursday.

A tornado watch was issued Wednesday afternoon for counties west and southwest of McLean, including next-door neighbor Tazewell County.

Some rain will likely persist until around 11 a.m. Thursday with gradual clearing and a high around 82 degrees on Thursday.

Wednesday’s high temp in Blo-No is expected to be around 80.
