A new place to satisfy a sweet tooth is opening in Downtown Bloomington.

Nothing Bundt Cakes, an original Las Vegas bakery, opened their first store in 1997.

There are now more than 260 bakeries across the United States. Bloomington will see the grand opening of the bakery in June.

Nothing Bundt Cakes said it competes by offering a delectable, new luxury product at an affordable price.

The location will be the 21st Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery to open in Illinois.

“I’m extremely excited because being from the Chicago area I’m used to having multiple locations near me,” Illinois State University junior zoology major Danielle Dorsen said. “So, it’ll be nice to have one close while I’m at school too. They also make great gifts.”

Nothing Bundt Cakes decorates cakes for several occasions including birthdays, holidays, graduations and other events.

Others who have gotten to taste desserts from Nothing Bundt Cakes describe the treats as moist, with the frosting being just as good as the cake itself.

More information can be found on the Nothing Bundt Cakes website.
