Power has been restored to the Illinois State University campus, university officials announced around 3:22 p.m. Thussday. 

The outage was first reported around 2:20 p.m. at seven buildings. In its update, the university said Ameren was not aware of the source of the outage, and warned that intermittent outages were still possible.

The update said ISU personnel will continue to monitor  the situation in the coming hours.
