After Friday's announcement that Region 2 was one of the few regions eligible to move out of Tier 3 mitigations, Gov. JB Pritzker announced Sunday that Region 2 would be one of the three regions moving into Tier 2 mitigations.

McLean County is among the counties in Region 2.

Last week, Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health announced modifications in resurgence mitigations as vaccination efforts increase across the state.

Tier 2 mitigations of Pritzker's Restore Illinois plan include, but are not limited to, limited indoor dining and bar service. Modifications include bars and restaurants reopening the indoor service at 25% capacity or to 25 people.
