At approximately 9:30 p.m. Monday, Normal police responded to a report of shots being fired in the 700 block of Franklin Avenue.

No injuries or damage to property were reported. However, a single shell casing was later found in the area. 

A witness reported that they saw a white vehicle leave the scene with no other suspect information. This is believed to be an isolated incident. 

Normal police encourages individuals with additional information to call the department at (309) 454-9535 or McLean County Crime Stoppers at (309) 888-1111.
