Becca Black ISA

Illinois State University senior golfer Becca Black was one of five players named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference team. This is Black’s second time in an MVC lineup and third time being recognized by the Missouri Valley Conference this season. She previously earned a place in the MVC scholar-athlete team and was named Golfer of the Week on Oct. 16.

Black is the 32nd golfer in Redbird history to be named to the all MVC team. In addition, this is the 58th time in ISU history where a woman golfer has earned All MVC honors.

This season, Black played in seven tournaments, playing 19 total rounds and averaged 75.7 strokes per round. Her average of 75.7 is ranked fifth in the entire MVC.

The four other golfers joining Black are: University of Northern Iowa’s Hannah Bermel, Missouri State’s Abby Cavaiani, Bradley’s Taylor Ledwein and Drake’s Haeri Lee.
