Before the Redbird men's basketball team suits up to take on Indiana State at 7 p.m. on Feb. 8 at Redbird Arena, the Illinois State University Athletics Department will host the 17th annual Taste of Redbirds. The events will begin at 4 p.m. and last until 6:30 at Horton Field House. 

All fans are welcomed as entrance to the Taste of Redbirds is free, although tickets must be purchased for food, soda or water. Tickets are $1 each and will be sold starting one hour before the Taste of Redbirds. Tickets can be found on the east concourse of Horton Field House.

Several food vendors will be present for Taste of Redbirds, including but not limited to: Avanti's, Denny's Doughnuts, Jason's Deli, Moe's, Noodles and Company and Papa John's. Beer and Wine can also be enjoyed by anyone 21 and up in the beer garden.

The event will also be host to a trunk show as vendors Alamo II, Weibring Golf Club Pro Shop, Jack Lewis Jewelers and BEER Nuts Brand Snacks will all be present selling licensed Illinois State merchandise.

The Reggie's Kids Club Fun Zone will be present for Taste of Redbird's, with several activities for children including a Fun on the Run Inflatable course, as well as face painting by the Zoo Crew.
